The company PUY DU FOU FRANCE, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €50,000,000, whose registered office is located at Puy du Fou, 85590 LES EPESSES, registered in the Trade and Companies Register of LA ROCHE-SUR-YON under number 347 490 070, as well as THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHÂTEAU AND THE COUNTRY OF PUY DU FOU, an association under the 1901 law, whose registered office is located at Puy du Fou - CS 70025 – 85590 LES EPESSES, SIREN 312 772 981, represented by Mr. Nicolas de Villiers have created this Personal Data Protection Policy in order to communicate the policy and practices of Puy du Fou regarding the collection and disclosure of information about you that has been obtained on the puydufou.com website, in their telephone relationship center or any other physical reception point on the park.
Thus, as a data controller, Puy du Fou attaches great importance to respecting your privacy and complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
2. PURPOSE OF THE COLLECTION OF YOUR DATA
Your personal data is collected either on the basis of your explicit consent or are necessary for the execution of your bookings (performance of a contract).
Thus your personal data is collected in order to :
• Answer your questions sent via the "contact us" form or through our telephone service
• Send you our brochures following your request via the "Brochure" form or through our telephone service
• Manage your online or phone reservations
• Ensuring the security of online transactions, preventing fraud and payment incidents
• Ask you about your satisfaction with our services
• If necessary, manage lost people and found objects in the park and record visits to our infirmary.
• Subject to your consent, send you information about our offers, news and events
The Personal Data essential to fulfill the purposes described above are reported on our online forms or by our telephone operators or any reception staff on the Park.
If you do not provide this data, Puy du Fou will not be able to respond to your requests.
3. DATA COLLECTED BY PUY DU FOU
The Personal Data that we are primarily likely to collect and process about you is as follows :
• data relating to your identity: your title, name, first names, postal address, phone number, email addresses;
• data relating to your means of payment, including your credit card number and its expiration date;
• data relating to the monitoring of our commercial relationship, in particular your order number, the history of your purchases, your requests or your correspondence with our Visitor Relations Department,
and in the following special cases :
• Tourism professionals: your position and the name of your company
• PASS subscription: your photo, date of birth, and your connection to other subscribers on the same order
• Lost person: the description of the lost person and their possible disability (to facilitate searches)
• Found object: your postal address for sending said object
• Infirmary: date of birth, reason for passage and follow-up given.
4. RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data is processed by Le Puy du Fou. It will not be transferred or made accessible to any third party, provided that :
• possible subcontractors of Puy du Fou for exclusively technical and logistical reasons (carriers, routers, hosting, catering and site maintenance providers, payment and fraud management providers, etc.)
• of any subscription to cancellation insurance that requires the communication of your data to the insurance company.

6. RETENTION PERIOD
Le Puy du Fou undertakes to use the Personal Data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes described above.
• The data relating to your reservations will in principle be kept by Puy du Fou for a period not exceeding the applicable statutory limitation periods.
• Your bank details will be securely stored for the validation of your order and payment. They will then be kept for 13 months maximum.
• Your identification data used, with your agreement, for the purpose of answering your questions, sending brochures, sending information about our offers, news and events will be kept for a period
• three years from their collection or from your last contact if you have never made a reservation at Puy du Fou
• five years from your last contact if you have made a reservation at Puy du Fou
Are considered as contact, a request for documentation, a call to our Visitor Relations service or a click on a hyperlink contained in an email ; however, the opening of an email cannot be considered as a contact.

At the end of this period of three or five years, Puy du Fou will be able to get back in touch with you to find out if you wish to continue receiving information about its offers, news and events.
In any case, you have the option at any time to unsubscribe from emails. To do so, you can contact our Visitor Relations department by email at mesdonnees@puydufou.com or by clicking on the unsubscribe link attached to each email. This applies to all electronic communications from Puy du Fou with the exception of emails necessary for processing the booking and sending travel documents.
• Your recorded data in the case of a lost person is destroyed 1 month after the end of the incident
• Your recorded data in the case of an object found is kept for 1 year from the date of claim of the object
• Your data recorded in the case of a visit to the infirmary are kept for 5 years.
7. SAFETY
Puy du Fou has implemented the appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of your Personal Data.
Puy du Fou’s computer systems are subject to state-of-the-art physical and software protection. Physical and electronic backup procedures for the collected data are implemented, in accordance with current French legislation on personal data protection and market standards.
Employees of Puy du Fou who, by virtue of their position, have access to your Personal Data are subject to strict confidentiality obligations.
Please be aware, however, that no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure and all information communicated online can potentially be intercepted and used by people other than the intended recipient.

By using our website, contacting our telephone service, our Visitor Relations department or any host at Puy du Fou, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in this Personal Data Protection Policy. This policy reflects the professional practices in force within Puy du Fou.
